Vaccinations Required for Canine Boarders
All dogs in our facility are required to be up-to-date on the following vaccinations:
+Rabies (required by NYS law)
+DHLPP and Corona (canine distemper combination)
+Bordetella (Infectious Tracheo bronchitis - "kennel cough")
+CIV (Canine Influenza Virus)
The Rabies and DHLPP/Corona are standard vaccinations covered at yearly exams.
For optimum coverage, it is best for dogs to receive these vaccinations 2 weeks or more prior to boarding - especially the bordetella and CIV. However, they can be administered on the day of check-in.
